Local Dues:

WEBOR strives to keep expenses down with solid budgeting practices. Due to this practice there will not be a dues increase during the 2009 year.

Education:

Our education committee offerings are timely topics to assist you the real estate professional including short sales, home inspections, top producers panel. Legislative and legal issues are also included. Earn credits towards a professional designation/certification or simply brush up on your skills. Offering NAR designation courses, including for 2009 the new Green Designation. Course’s are an excellent way to gain knowledge from other REALTOR® professionals.

Communication:

E-mail is our best form of communication, sending information in a timely manner. WEBOR News is sent on a weekly basis via e-mail and fax, covering local state and national information. If an issue local/state/national requires immediate attention you will receive special notice. E-mail also allows us to keep cost down yet communicate effectively.

NJAR Circle of Excellence Award:

All members who achieve NJAR Circle of Excellence are honored at a special event. A celebration of achievement.

Committees:

Volunteer committees are the lifeblood of the West Essex Board of REALTOR®. The West Essex Board of REALTOR® has been honored with the 2005 New Jersey Association of REALTOR® Community Service Award. Our signature projects include Library in a Box® a literacy program bringing new books and reading sessions to daycare centers in need. WEBOR has many committees dedicated to your interest whether it is community service, politics or try something new! Meet fellow REALTOR® from throughout the association and make an impact on the local level.

Maps:

The West Essex Board of REALTOR® has produced high quality area map using the latest satellite technology. The maps are perfect for placing n your packets o clients/customers. Available for purchase at the Board Store.

REALTOR® Store:

Purchase your REALTOR® merchandise through the store at the Board Store office. WEBOR is your source for pins, logo products, electronic measuring devices and other necessities to enhance your business. If we don’t have it we will try and find it from one of our many vendors!  Shop here.

Multiple Listing Service:

As a member of Board of the Garden State MLS you may join at the WEBOR office. Pick up MLS agreements, purchase/exchange a keypad or lockbox.

REALTOR® of the Year Award:

Each year members are recognized by their peers for outstanding service to the community and for REALTOR® spirit. The winner of the REALTOR® of the Year will be submitted to NJAR for state recognition.

The WEBOR website :

Your 24/7 resource for board news, education, local town information, state and national happenings. Newly updated town profiles will be available in PDF format to provide to your clients/customers. Agent dashboard is available for members to post their photo and contact information.

RPAC:

The REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC) is a nonpartisan organization that supports candidates in favor of real estate and private property issued. Seventy percent of your voluntary contributions are dedicated to state and local candidates and thirty percent are sent to the National Association to support federal candidates.

Community:

As a smaller association The West Essex Board of REALTOR® members feel more included in the processes. The Wets Essex Board of REALTOR® is an all REALTOR® Board meaning all members hold a vote.
